"Rupert Finds a Family is a wonderful story about a brave little squirrel who wants to be a part of a family. It will bring a smile to the faces of children and adults alike and I highly recommend it. I can't wait to read about what Rupert will be up to next." — D. Carney

"Rupert Makes A Friend" - is so much fun to read. I love how Rupert always has a plan! The family's obstacle illustrates the valuable life lesson that not everyone can be strong all the time, but by working together, everyone can be stronger.
I also love how the Rupert Adventure Series books are interactive…Not only does Rupert make a friend, but readers also feel like they have too!”— D. Ellinas, Haddam CT

Rupert, the curious and fun-loving squirrel Gets an awesome opportunity to go to the beach with the family and fly a special kite that the children have made. But when it looks like Rupert will steer the kite straight into the ocean…ut oh!

“The Rupert's Adventures Series' contains well thought of content and graphics for younger readers. In addition to having an interesting story that would captivate the young listener, there are also important values and morals woven into each book to compliment the life lessons being taught at home. An added feature can be found at the back of the books. Thought provoking questions are asked relating to the story, which train a child to develop their comprehension and attention-to-detail skills - which will be of great benefit to the child once at school…” — S. Mahoney

In this extra special edition of Rupert’s Adventures, Rupert goes on an exciting, important tour. You’ll see photos from all across the country as he travels by motorcycle with two dedicated fathers raising awareness for a terrible drug problem affecting many families across the United States.

Author Interview

Why did you start writing children’s books?

“I see a need for an increased emphasis on what a quality family life looks like. Much regarding healthy family dynamics has been lost in our fast-paced society, and we need to learn how to address common family problems with practical solutions.”

What was the catalyst that got you started with this?

“I know too many adults who missed out as children on learning about family dynamics. I am a better grandparent than I was a parent. My boys say I did the best I could under the circumstances we had.”

What is unique about the way you write?

“I am intentional in my writing. Subtle messages for adults lie waiting to be discovered in my children’s books: I slide non-intimidating messages under the door, so to speak.”

“By the way, it is also one of the ways I mentor men: I do not just shove truth in their faces, I intertwine the truth with humor and it’s a lot easier to take that way.”

How did you come up with the idea for your book series?

“The 10-book Rupert’s Adventures series was birthed as an idea from my grandchildren.”

So, you started this because of your what grandkids did?

“Not exactly. After my youngest son Matthew died, I needed a healthy outlet to keep me grounded.

My wife and I run our own personal day camp for our five grandchildren. During activites, we teach them to love, honor and respect each other, to value diversity and to influence others through positive character traits.

This series seemed a natural extension of that with a subtle focus on those same family values and positive character traits.”

You took the pen name Lord Fritz III.

“Yes, I chose the pen name Lord Fritz III and as Lord Fritz, I take on the character of a goofy guy with Rupert on his shoulder. “

That seems like an unusual twist for you.

“I like to poke fun at the male role model in my books because I believe being a healthy man is the best way, I can help women and children. “

What would you say is your personal motto?

“I’d say — If I’m not having fun then I will create it.”

As we finish, is there anything you want to leave with us?

“My heart’s desire is to make the messages in this book series available and affordable to all who want them. People can partner with me to make a difference. They can find out more at EastgateOutreach.com.“

“Finally, 10% of all Rupert’s Adventures gross sales will go to Radiant Destiny International, whose mission is “to bring peace, hope and joy in very tangible ways to families in communities across the earth” That is close to my heart of my vision for this book series. See RadiantDestiny.com.“
